We would like to invite you to the annual conference of the Italian Society of Photobiology (SIFB) that will be held at the Italian National Research Council ofBologna(Area della Ricerca) fromJune 19thto 21st, 2019.
The SIFB conference is mainly addressed to researchers involved in the following research areas:
- natural, artificial and electronic photosynthesis
- nanotechnology and photochemistry
- light-induced therapies
- light-responsive materials
- photodermatology
The plenary speaker of this edition is

Abstract formtemplate is available at the website and must be submitted by email by15thApril 15th, 2019. Abstract acceptance will be notified byApril 26th, 2019.
Registrationparticipants have to register at the at the website filling in, where possible, all fields.
Deadlines for the payment of the conference fee are
Academic Delegate (earlybird) € 130(beforeMay 10th, 2019)
Students and PhD (earlybird) € 60(beforeMay 10th, 2019)
Academic Delegate (regular) € 150
Students and PhD (regular) € 70
Conference fee includes admission to scientific program, poster sessions and exhibition, congress documentation, refreshments during the coffee breaks and one buffet lunch.
SIFB Membershipis mandatory for Italian participants.
Annual SIFB membership:€ 30(regular)€ 20(students)
Two-years membership:€ 50(regular)€ 30(students)
Fellowshipswill be available for fostering young researchers’ participation. The fellowship will cover the congress fee, two-night arrangement in Bologna (for those not living nearby) and a 50% discount on the social dinner. Fellowship application must be submitted byMarch 31st, 2019following the procedure reported on our websiteSifb.
